I like the site, but I don’t think it likes me very much. Either that or I just don’t know what I’m doing. Anyway, I’m going to leave my gallery here, and stop posting so much online in general. I don’t think it’s healthy. It’s getting in the way of my creative projects.

I’ve been cartooning for 30 years, and this is the first time I’ve felt such aggressive apathy towards my art from the general online community, across all platforms. Newgrounds is just the most extreme example. So, either my creative vision is completely out of touch, or I simply lack the time and the mental stamina to keep up online appearances. Anyway, it’s been real. If an audience for my kind of stuff comes back around, then so will I.
